Scalloped Edges

We are a group of 10 quilters who meet weekly. We are a diverse group who enjoy sharing our enthusiasm for and our skill of quilting with each other. In our weekly get together’s we show and tell, do hand stitch finishing, teach each other new projects, some of us even sneak in some knitting. We have members from Bowser to River’s Edge, we rotate meeting in each other’s homes.

Several times a year we meet to sew all day; we make Comfort Quilts, placemats for Meals on Wheels or Christmas Stockings for the Newcomers Alumni to fill for shut ins.

We are an active group and derive inspiration and motivation from each other. Our members are Margaret Furnell, Fran Wilson, Elizabeth Hillman, Diane Alexander, Tracey Turner, Robin Hansby, Nancy Connah, Kathy Claxton, Frankie Michaluk and Marti White.
